Andrea Molina is the Director for Family Services of Westchester’s Veterans Outreach; her duty includes helping find reputable counseling, housing and benefit assistance. She is also involved with the Vet2Vet a peer to peer counseling and networking. Andrea’s objective is to prepare Veterans for civilian life after separating from the service, connecting with the appropriate responsive services that will proactively assist veterans. Mrs. Molina is a native New Yorker, raised in White Plains. She and her husband call Mount Vernon home. The tragedy of September 11, 2001 left Ms. Molina with the desire to serve her country. In November 2001, she enlisted as an active duty Marine. She calls this one of the best decisions she has ever made in her life.

Andrea is a frequent volunteer for veteran organizations, such as Hope for the Warriors, Intersections International, Team Red White and Blue, Mission Continues, and Team Rubicon, advocate for veteran’s rights and mentor to returning veterans. As an electrician, she served for four years in the United States Marine Corps active duty attaining the rank of Sergeant and leading 45 Marines. Sgt. Molina was stationed at Cherry Point, NC. She deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from February 2003 through August 2003 and again from February 2005 through September 2005. While deployed Andrea was billeted as the Engineer Platoon Sergeant, Base Security and Convey Security. Once she returned from Iraq, Andrea served in the 6th Communication Battalion in Brooklyn, NY as an electrician for two additional years. With much discipline and hard work, Andrea received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics in SUNY Empire State College, and completed the MBA program for in 2016.
