Born and raised in Yonkers NY, Joseph graduated the Yonkers School system in 2000. After the events of 9/11/2001 Joseph enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and departed for Paris Island in December 2001. Upon graduating from recruit training in March of 2002 Joseph reported to Camp Geiger NC to the Infantry Training Battalion and graduated with the MOS of Rifleman in May 2002 and transferred to Marine Barracks Washington DC where he was assigned to the Naval Academy Co. where he provided security and ceremonial support for two years. In 2004 Joseph earned his eligibility into the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion 5th Marine Division and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom to Al Anbar where he participated in Operation Phantom Fury, a military action to reclaim the city of Fallujah Iraq from Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Upon completion of his active duty requirement in late 2005 Joseph returned to Yonkers. In 2007 Joseph while employed by Empress EMS as an EMT, joined Golf Co. 2nd Battalion 25th Marine 4 Marine Division and in 2008 deployed to Iraq once again. Upon completion of this deployment, Joseph again returned back to Yonkers where he met his wife Jennifer and was married in 2014. In 2016 they were blessed with a child on the Fourth of July by the name of Logan.
